OUR STORY

Hi, I’m Lumina — the hands behind Luminify, a small studio based in San Francisco, USA, and Shenzhen, China, dedicated to creating one-of-a-kind custom Labubu figures.

My love for Labubu and Pop Mart began at the end of 2021, when I brought home my very first figure: Labubu THE MONSTERS – Fruits Series. That tiny toy sat on my shelf, traveled with me, and — with its mischievous little smile — reminded me how something so small could spark so much joy.

After graduating from Parsons School of Design, I began customizing Labubu figures for myself while job hunting. When the Labubu Macarons Series was released, I started experimenting — restyling their fur, painting their faces, and transforming their look entirely. Friends loved what I made and asked for their own, and that’s when everything truly began.

Soon, I was taking custom orders, testing fabrics, refining patterns, and even visiting other handmade studios. I’ve made it my mission to only collaborate with creators who share the same care and commitment to quality.

Today, Luminify is a small, heart-led studio that releases a limited number of handmade Labubu figures. Each one begins with a piece of fabric, an acrylic marker, and an authentic Macaron base — then it's hours of sewing, painting, and love.
